Abstract
Provides details of the conditions that may be included in street works permit schemes by highway authorities such as duration, date and time constraints, working hours, ancillary activities, removal and storage of surplus material and plant, road space occupation dimensions, availability of road space to traffic and/or pedestrians, road closure, traffic management requests, manual control of traffic management, traffic management arrangements, signal removal, using appropriate methodology, displaying permit number, publicity for the proposed works, limit timing of certain events and exceptional circumstance.
