Abstract
Relates to GEOWEB Geocells GW30V and GW40V, honeycomb-like interconnected geocells for use as an erosion protection, and formation of sustainable vegetation within watercourses or pipe culvert for the stabilisation of unbound granular layers by way of interlock with the aggregate. The products have been assessed for use in reinforced slopes at an inclination up to 70 degrees, gravity walls and reinforced walls. Key factors assessed mechanical resistance and stability, safety in case of fire, hygiene, health and the environment, safety and accessibility in use, protection against noise, energy economy and heat retention, sustainable use of natural resources, durability.
