Provides advice on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) with regard to applications for Development Consent Orders (DCO) for linear NSIPs. Covers: focus of advice for linear projects; pre-application advice; Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Statements; proposed development: what and where; evolution of design including alternatives; construction stage; construction stage effects and beneficial operational outcomes; land rights; crossing or affecting Statutory Undertakers’ land or apparatus; plans, illustrations and visualisations; Development Consent Orders; engagement and consultation.
