Abstract
Provides guidance to users of the planning system in Scotland who are undertaking engagement activities. Has four parts covering context and benefits of engagement; levels of engagement to think about the purpose of engagement at each stage of making a local development plan; local development plan preparation and the different levels of engagement that could be used; and engagement stage by stage, which also looks at engagement in impact assessment.
