Abstract
The text describes HYBRIS for Pitched Roofs, a reflective insulation panel made from a honeycomb structure of shaped polyethylene foams and aluminium-coated foils, used as insulation between timber rafters in pitched roofs with a pitch of up to 70° in both new and existing domestic and non-domestic buildings. Key factors assessed were mechanical resistance and stability, safety in case of fire, hygiene, health and the environment, safety and accessibility in use, protection against noise, energy economy and heat retention, sustainable use of natural resources, durability.
