Provides advice on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) with regard to the process for undertaking cumulative effects assessment. Covers: legal and policy requirements for cumulative effects assessment; interrelationships and combined effects; consideration of cumulative effects in screening Schedule 2 development; overview of the cumulative effects assessment process; Stage 1: establishing the long list of other existing and, or approved development; Stage 2: establishing a shortlist of other existing and, or approved development; Stage 3: information gathering; and Stage 4: assessment.
