Abstract
Relates to the Tuffreel M, VOC barrier film a multi-layered thermoplastic membrane designed to function as both a damp-proof membrane (DPM) and a gas-resistant barrier. This product is used to shield buildings from the penetration of moisture, radon, methane, carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) rising from the ground. Key factors assessed were mechanical resistance and stability, safety in case of fire, hygiene, health and the environment, safety and accessibility in use, protection against noise, energy economy and heat retention, sustainable use of natural resources, durability.
