Abstract

Updates guidance relating to operable fabric curtains requirements before, during and after the transition from CE marking to UKCA marking, following the UK leaving the EU. CE marking for products came under the Construction Products Regulations (CPR) 2013, with transitional arrangements applied by the Construction Product (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020. Covers: CE marking and fire resistance performance, CE marking combination standards, the machinery directive, transition to UKCA, BS 8524-1, and the extension of scope.
