MCHW Volume 2 Notes for Guidance on the Specification for Highway Works
Abstract
Provides notes for guidance for preparing contracts to be used for construction, improvement or maintenance of highway works. Sets out the requirements relevant for different types of piling and embedded retaining walls and also covers: reduction of friction, non-destructive methods for testing, static load testing, integrity testing, instrumentation and support fluid.
