Abstract

Letter to Heads of Planning confirming that the Scottish Government does not support the development of conventional onshore oil and gas developments in Scotland. Contains the Town and Country Planning (Notification of Applications) (Conventional Oil and Gas) (Scotland) Direction 2023, a new direction setting out the arrangements for notifying planning applications to the Scottish Ministers which comes into force on 21 March 2023.
