Abstract
Relates to a magnesium oxide board for use on the external face of inner leaf walls of steel- or timber-frame constructions as load-bearing or non-loadbearing external sheathing boards, providing temporary weather protection prior to over-cladding with a permanent weatherproof façade, or as internal dry lining. Cem-Rock LITE is a magnesium oxide board for use as internal dry lining. Key factors assessed were strength and stability, performance in relation to fire, resistance to moisture, and durability.
