Abstract
Policy statement explaining the approaches to be taken to protect and preserve the ancient and native woodland of England. Updating the 2005 statement, it restates the Government’s commitment to evaluate the threats facing these habitats and sets out updated principles and objectives to protect and improve these habitats for future generations.
