Abstract

Explains an area of confusion relating to operable fabric curtains arising from the transition from CE marking to UKCA marking requirements, following the UK leaving the EU. CE marking for products came under the Construction Products Regulations (CPR) 2013, and transitional arrangements were made with the Construction Product (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020. Looks at the relevant standards and offers ASFP guidance.
