Letters to Chief Executives of Verifiers
Provides guidance for local authorities on special measures relating to the continuation of building standards during the COVID-19 pandemic , looking at the challenges faced, and how a flexible approach will allow building standards to continue. The grace period has been extended to 30 September 2022, with a review scheduled in the summer. Also includes updated guidance is included for: the hospitality and healthcare sectors, building warrant duration and deemed refusal, occupation of new buildings, remote verification inspection and certification.
