Abstract
Sets out the UK Government's plan to decarbonise the entire transport system in the UK. Describes the path to net zero transport and details the plan including decarbonising all forms of transport - increasing cycling and walking, zero emission vehicles, decarbonising railways, accelerating maritime and aviation decarbonisation; and multi-modal decarbonisation and key enablers - delivering a zero emission freight and logistics sector, delivering carbonisation through places, maximising the benefits of sustainable low carbon fuels, hydrogen's role in a decarbonised transport system, future transport providing more choice and better efficiency, supporting UK research and development as a decarbonisation enabler and unlocking green finance.
