Abstract

Provides requirements for appraising new and replacement road lighting on motorways and all-purpose trunk roads, looking at the process, concept design, works and costs, road safety engineering report, scheme appraisal report (SAR), impacts and findings. Appendices cover cost items, calculations for energy cost, decommissioning and a benefits cost ratio.
