Abstract
Relates to extruded ceramic tiles hung on aluminium support rails or clamps providing an overlap-jointed, back-ventilated rainscreen cladding system to be used on external masonry, concrete or steel frame walls. Key factors assessed were strength and stability, behaviour in relation to fire, air and water penetration and durability.
