Building Regulations 2010: Approved Documents
Provides practical guidance for complying with building regulation requirements relating to: establishing standards for building materials and workmanship and skills used. It also covers performance and limitations, fitness of materials, short-lived materials, materials susceptible to change in properties, non-combustible materials in external walls of tall buildings and various means for establishing adequacy of workmanship.
Amends: Building Regulations 2010: Approved Documents 7 Materials and workmanship Regulation 7 (2013 edition) (NBS, 2013). Came into effect 6 April 2013. This approved document gives guidance for compliance with the Building Regulations for building work carried out in England. It also applies to building work carried out on excepted energy buildings in Wales as defined in the Welsh Ministers (transfer of functions) (No. 2) order 2009.
