Abstract

Provides guidance to Building Standards Managers in relation to the results of fire door tests conducted by Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) revealing that 5 out of 6 doors tested have failed. Clarifies that test evidence for exposure to fire for both sides of the door is needed to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of Section 2 - Fire in the Technical Handbooks.
