These UK figures are compiled to comply with EC Waste Framework Directive, EC Waste Statistics Regulation, EC Landfill Directive and EC Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive reporting requirements. Covers: waste from households; biodegradable municipal waste (BMW) sent to landfill; recovery rate from non-hazardous construction and demolition waste; waste from commercial and industrial activities; total waste generation and final treatment of total waste; and infrastructure.
