Abstract
Discusses the need for vehicle security barriers (VSB) as a measure to protect against vehicle borne attack, and looks at various technologies available and methods for integration. Also covers asset management and safety audits. Amended to reflect alterations in traffic calming and bus stop design, use of vehicles as a potential weapon and how vehicle security barriers can be used in the streetscape.
