Gives recommendations for regular inspection and maintenance of fire blankets. Also covers: mounting, basic service, labelling, evaluation of fitness and documentation.
Supersedes: Code of practice for the commissioning and maintenance of fire blankets manufactured to BS EN 1869 (FIA, 2011). This Code of Practice is intended as a general guidance and is not a substitute for detailed advice in specific circumstances.
