Sets out the rural development programme for England for the period 2014-2020, which was formally adopted by the European Commission on 13 February 2015. Includes: strategy; an assessment of the main needs to be addressed by the Rural Development Programme; a description of the Rural Development measures being implemented; financial information on the programme; evaluating the programme; publicity and who is responsible for implementing the programme; and information on how the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), European Social Fund (ESF) and European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) funded programmes complement each other.
Supersedes Rural development programme in England - draft programme, published alongside a strategic environmental assessment of the programme; and Strategic environmental assessment of the draft rural development programme in England - environmental report (DEFRA, 2014).
