Presents results from the 2016 Scottish vacant and derelict land survey. Looks at: former surface coal mines; location and trends of derelict and urban vacant land; levels and location of derelict land; people's proximity to derelict land; location of derelict and urban vacant land relative to deprivation; levels and location of urban vacant land; previous uses and other characteristics of derelict and urban vacant land; and new and reclaimed derelict and urban vacant land.
