Comprises the UK Government's cycling and walking strategy. Discusses the Government's ambition and objectives for cycling and walking in England, detailing the financial resources available, monitoring the performance of the strategy and what governance arrangements will be made. Also includes an action plan which outlines actions already taken as well as future actions.
Supersedes Cycling and walking investment strategy - consultation (DFT, 2016). Also known as CWIS1.
