Abstract
Clarifies the implications of the Directive on design, installation, commissioning, maintenance and operation of equipment used in fire protection systems which produce optical radiation in the range of 100 nm to 1 mm. Looks at employers responsibilities, gives recommendations for manufacturers and explores sources of radiation.
