Abstract
Comprises the Government's response to the National Infrastructure Committee's report, 'High speed North', which provided initial strategic advice on the infrastructure for connectivity in the North of England, involving the development and integration of high speed rail 3 (HS3) with HS2, redevelopment of gateway stations and boosting capacity on major roads, particularly the M62 motorway.
