Advice Note
Comprises annex A to advice note 11, which sets out in more detail the specific role played by Natural Resources Wales, in the consideration of proposals for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs), both as a consultee and in relation to permits, consents and licenses that Natural Resources Wales has power to issue but that may be required in addition to a Development Consent Order for a NSIP.
Supersedes Annex A to advice note 11 - Countryside Council for Wales. Version 3 (PINS, 2012). Under the Localism Act 2011, the IPC is abolished with its work being transferred to the National Infrastructure Directorate, created within the Planning Inspectorate. Consequently, all IPC advice notes have been republished by the Planning Inspectorate.
The Planning Inspectorate processes planning and enforcement appeals and holding examinations into regional spatial strategies and local development plans.
