Loss Prevention Standard
Specifies requirements, test methods and performance criteria for point multi-sensor fire detectors that incorporate an electrochemical cell for sensing carbon monoxide in combination with one or more heat sensors, for use in fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings. For other types of CO multi-sensor fire detector, or CO/heat multi-sensor fire detectors using other types of CO sensor, this standard should only be used for guidance.
