Abstract
Shows housing land availability together with the extent of housing development for settlements, as defined in development plans, across Northern Ireland. Revised as a result of inaccuracies identified in the data used to prepare the report; the majority of the amendments relate to Down District and any subsequent changes to Northern Ireland figures have been made accordingly.

The Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland (DOENI) is now known as the Department for Communities (DfC). The Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland's role was to promote sustainable development principles, responsible land use, air and water quality, and waste management, the reduction of road traffic casualties and ensure effective local government.
