Planning Policy Statement
Abstract
Comprises the amended Policy H3 to PPS 12, which will allow serviced sites (sites with amenities such as water, electricity etc.) for travellers to be considered in entirely rural locations. The previous policy meant that such facilities could only be considered in settlements (cities, towns and villages or hamlets).
History
Will be cancelled by Strategic planning policy statement for Northern Ireland (SPPS) - planning for sustainable development (DOENI, 2015) when all eleven councils have adopted a new Plan Strategy for the whole of their council area. Supersedes Policy H3 in PPS 12.
