Abstract

Provides guidance on the implementation of revised British Standards for steel reinforcement in concrete, which come into effect on 1 January 2006.

History

Wales only IANs are issued by the Welsh Government. They contain specific guidance, to be used only in connection with works on the motorway and trunk road network in Wales. IANs must be read in conjunction with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW). Applicable to Wales only. Refers to MCHW Volume 1 Series 1700 and MCHW Volume 2 Series NG1700.
