Abstract

Provides additional guidance for sections 1, 2 and 3 of DMRB Volume 11: explaining use of significance criteria, clarifying assessment approach to be used where up-to-date topic-specific guidance has not yet been updated and guidance for reporting of cumulative assessment.

History

Wales only IANs are issued by the Welsh Government. They contain specific guidance, to be used only in connection with works on the motorway and trunk road network in Wales. IANs must be read in conjunction with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW). Applicable to Wales only.
