Abstract
Results of a three year measurement period of the acoustical performance of low noise road surfaces using statistical pass-by (SPB), close proximity (CPX) and traffic noise surveys. Recommendations include amending Annex 4 of HA 213/08 in relation to HRA surface correction, reducing the noise level required by HAPAS certification and continued assessment of HRA surfaces to improve understanding of acoustic behaviour.
