Abstract
Provides updated policy guidance on the English National Parks and the Broads. It is relevant to those bodies with appropriate statutory functions and will be of interest to all those who have a key role in contributing to the success of the Parks, including landowners and land managers, private companies and voluntary bodies.

Supersedes DOE Circular 12/96: Environment act 1995, part III: National Parks (DOE, 1996) and DOE Circular 125/77: Roads and traffic - National Parks (DOE, 1977).
