Abstract
Presents a strategic centrally co-ordinated plan for adapting to climate change in Scotland. This plan aims to increase the resilience of Scotland's people and dependence on the natural and economic systems, to the impacts of climate change.
History
Supersedes Adapting our ways - managing Scotland's climate risk: consultation to inform Scotland's climate change adaptation framework (Scottish Government, 2008) and Preparing for a changing climate: second consultation to inform Scotland's climate change adaptation framework (Scottish Government, 2009). This document relates to the following: First progress report on climate change adaptation in Scotland (Scottish Government, 2011); Scotland's climate change adaptation framework sector summaries; and Preparing for a changing climate: Scotland's climate change adaptation framework.
