Abstract
Introduces the development of the system and provides structural details for span and width variations, curvature and skew and covers the construction options for span lifts, incremental launching, self-propelled modular transporters and gantries. It is hoped this construction method will become the preferred choice for medium-span bridges in the UK. Also covers the construction programme and costs.
