Abstract

Enforceable regulations prohibiting double parking and parking at dropped footways have been in effect in England and Wales since 31 March 2008. There is no requirement for these areas to be indicated using traffic signs and/or road markings. This consultation will introduce small changes to legislation for clarification purposes and to ensure a consistent approach in enforcement.
