Circular Letter
Gives an update on the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005 and, in particular, the fixed penalty notice powers that started on 6 April 2006. The supplementary note (attached at Annex A) corrects errors in Defra’s printed guidance documents on the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005, Code of Practice on Litter and Refuse, and Parish Council Guide to Environmental Enforcement, issued in April 2006.
