Abstract

The ninety-four Best Value Performance Indicators (BVPIs) described in this guidance document are an integral part of local government’s performance management framework. They constitute a framework of clear performance measures across the range of local government services. They reflect the importance that is attached to service delivery at the local level, and the Government’s intention to work in partnership to secure a progressive improvement in authorities’ performance.
