Abstract
Attempts to produce boundaries and statistics for areas of town centre activity across England and Wales. This results from project which aims to develop a nationally consistent method of defining boundaries around concentrations of town centre activities to allow statistical comparisons. It also outlines the history of the project, details the data sources and methodology used in developing the model for town centre activity.
