Abstract

Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) services is a Department of Transport (DfT) initiative to promote information gathering, processing, communication and delivery technologies to provide an integrated transport logistics service. Provides a study of the InterConnect system - a high quality bus service for the rural communities of Lincolnshire, running on a minimum hourly frequency on routes between the major towns of the county.

History

Assist is a DfT initiative aiming to encourage and promote the use of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) as tools to implement local transport policy objectives.
