Abstract

Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) services is a Department of Transport (DfT) initiative to promote information gathering, processing, communication and delivery technologies to provide an integrated transport logistics service. Provides and introduction for local authorities to the potential benefits from using ITS to aid coordinated freight management within their area.

Assist is a DfT initiative aiming to encourage and promote the use of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) as tools to implement local transport policy objectives.
