Advises on the interpretation of the EC Waste Framework Directive and its implementation through the Waste Management Licensing Regulations 1994. Sets out a hierarchy of waste use options, including reduction, re-use, recovery and disposal which is part of the waste management licensing system, a provision of the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
