Abstract
Provides advice about the procedure for obtaining the views of local planning authorities in certain cases. These are where the consent of the Secretary of State for Energy together with the deemed planning permission is sought to construct, extend or operate an electricity generating station; or to install or keep installed an electric line above ground. It also advises on assessing the environmental effects of such developments.
