Abstract
Provides the designer, the contractor, and the concrete producer with guidance on the application of in-situ concrete technology for foundation applications. Environmental issues and sustainable construction practices are also discussed. The objectives of the report are to provide current guidance on the analysis of durability and construction-related parameters to be considered in the selection of in-situ concrete for foundation applications. Also to identify current best practice on the design, specification and use of in-situ concrete in common foundation types for a range of site conditions, based on both mature and new concrete technology.
