Abstract
CIRIA have undertaken research into the bunding of above-ground tanks in the size range 1,000 to 25,000 litres. This report gives a background to the problem and guides the reader to the most appropriate bund capacity, shape, dimensions and structural design. The document provides model designs for use on site, a technical description of works and a non-technical guide to the designs.
