Abstract

Relates to traditional buildings and buildings of traditional construction, with a focus on the application of the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 to conversions. Provides guidance within the context of fire safety standards in order to support the implementation of the Building (Scotland) Amendment Regulations, which take effect from 6 April 2026.

Supplements domestic and non-domestic technical handbooks, supporting the application of the technical handbooks which take effect on 6 April 2026.
