Abstract

LIQUI-ZERO. A liquid-applied roof waterproofing system for use on limited access and, where appropriate, pedestrian access roofs, on warm and cold exposed roofs (flat and pitched), green roofs (flat, zero fall and pitched), protected warm and cold roofs (flat and zero fall), inverted roofs (flat and zero fall), blue roofs in combination with a storm water attenuation system, terraces, balconies and walkways across roof areas. Key factors assessed were mechanical resistance and stability, safety in case of fire, hygiene, health and the environment, safety and accessibility in use, protection against noise, energy economy and heat retention, sustainable use of natural resources, durability.
