Abstract

Relates to Sikaproof® -730 PA, a fully bonded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) waterproofing membrane treated with pressure-sensitive adhesive, used as an externally pre-applied damp-proofing and waterproofing membrane on solid concrete floors and walls below ground. The product also contributes to restricting the ingress of radon, carbon dioxide, and methane into a building. The key factors assessed include mechanical resistance and stability, safety in case of fire, hygiene, health and the environment, safety and accessibility in use, protection against noise, energy economy and heat retention, sustainable use of natural resources, and durability.
